my own newspaper. There were three articles, starting with the front page story titled "Tex Mex Open!" about a new local restaurant that was moving into town. I wrote three copies exactly alike, all by hand. The story on the back page about a make-believe lodge in the local Bradys Run Park is, to this date, the only piece of news ever published in The Missy Times that was made up and/or not true.
From that day on, The Missy Times took off and continues to regularly report all the local news from Wilson Avenue. Over a span of almost 5 years there have been almost 70 issues, sent to over 10 different states, plus England, and there are currently nearly 20 subscribers on the mailing list today.
