ReplyDeleteMy favorite Christmas song is "Twas the Night Before Christmas" by Fred Waring and The Pennsylvanians (c1955). When I was a kid, we had the LP (the cover is from a Norman Rockwell painting of Santa peeking at 2 kids asleep in a chair). A while back I found a cassette tape version (but who has a cassette player in their car anymore?). The album is no longer in print but I recently found the song on youtube.
